Maximum Leverage Breakthough

I got an email from Daegan Smith the other day asking for “your biggest Maximum Leverage online business breakthrough”.

Unfortunately I didn’t read the email properly (there’s a lesson here so read on).

I somehow thought Daegan wanted us to make a sales video, telling the reasons why we love Maximum Leverage so much.

I sure do, so I was keen to get the video done ASAP.

I stayed up until 1:30am working on a PowerPoint sales presentation, complete with my best results and whatever else I could extract from my tired brain at that time of the morning.

The next day I was up at 7am (why don’t young children sleep in?). It was Sunday, which is officially pancakes and maple syrup day at my house if you didn’t know.

I was thinking all day about how to complete the presentation.  I even managed to do a few changes while sitting with my son watching ‘Night at the Museum’ (for the umpteenth time).

It’s one of his favourite movies.

Later that evening I got to finalize the presentation and record the video.

I reread Daegan’s email to make sure I hadn’t missed anything.

Bugger.

Daegan wanted to know our biggest breakthrough.

Not a sales video at all. Doh!

Had I submitted this video I would have failed miserably at the most basic of marketing principles:

Put simply, my biggest breakthrough is leads.

Solo ads is now my chosen marketing strategy to master. I was surprised how quickly the leads came flowing in when I applied what Daegan teaches.

But seriously, for a relative newbie like me to learn Daegan’s stuff and leverage it to build my own business, I can’t stop ranting how good it is.
