Achieving Network Marketing Success

Building a large, exponentially growing network is not easy, although it is simple. You need to be coachable, persistent and maintain a positive attitude, and willing to follow a step-by-step sorting system.

You achieve lasting success in Network Marketing with solid marketing; following a system that others can duplicate and running your business in an honest, professional fashion.

If you missed my first post titled Sorting vs Selling, here it is – Sorting vs Selling – part 1Global MLM Team

What Does a Sorting System Look Like?

Step One – Greet

The first and easiest step is just talking to your prospect, or people in general, and let them open up and be willing to talk freely and openly to you.

You may never leave this step with some people – that’s OK. They might be having a bad day or be too busy, so just enjoy the conversation.

Step Two – Qualify

This is the step that determines if you have an actual prospect. The purpose of qualifying is to find out what the person needs, wants and doesn’t want as it relates to your business.

Step Three – Invite

Once you’ve qualified prospect, the next step is to invite them to review some information that can help them achieve whatever it is that they’ve said they need, want or don’t want.

If the person doesn’t qualify, you shouldn’t proceed to this step to invite them to look at your information.

You can come back to them at a later date to see how they’re going, but not now. You’re looking for people that are looking for what you have.

Step Four – Questions and Objections

The purpose of handling questions and/or objections is to get the prospect beyond whatever it is that is holding them back from attaining what they have stated they need, want or don’t want.
This is a critical step and the key points are:

  1. Listen completely with your full attention; take notes if you need to. Never interrupt.
  2. Confirm your understanding by repeating the question back to them. You don’t want to handle the wrong objection!
  3. Make the question or objection valid, but don’t agree with the objection.
  4. Handle the question or objection. Getting an experienced upline business partner on a 3-way call can be a great way to do this if you don’t know the answer.

Step Five – Close To Action

This is the action step to complete what is being said or done and then start putting your prospects needs, wants or don’t wants into existence.

Step Six – Follow up

In this step you recontact your prospect. If they show they are ready, move them towards getting whatever they require to attain their needs, wants or don’t wants .Handshake

These six steps are the foundation for your system. No matter which program you’re in, it should generally parallel this process. It’s best to check with your upline business partners for specifics.

No Pressure, Easy Marketing

You’ll notice this sorting system doesn’t involve any of the dishonest and annoying practices I wrote in my previous post. Your system should focus on identifying qualified prospects, educating them, and letting them make the right decision for themselves.

A lot of people are wondering how this type of system works today, in a more competitive environment. Prospects today are so jaded, so assaulted, and so skeptical, they are completely turned off by the high-pressure techniques. The kind of honest, easy marketing we’re talking about is very attractive to them.

This kind of system works both online and offline – you may be interested in pursuing either or both approaches, but there are many advantages to using an effective Internet marketing system such as the 7 Figure Networker (click for an intro video).

I urge you to sign up to my free 8 day email series (add your name and best email to the box on the top right) to find out how the 7 Figure Networker can support and grow your Network Marketing business. You’ll be glad you did.

    Hi David –

You obviously know exactly what you’re talking about – I especially cheered at the first sentence in paragraph 2 of step 3 – probably should be bold LOL:

“If the person doesn’t qualify, you shouldn’t proceed to this step to invite them to look at your information.”

How much heartache and disappointment could be saved if THIS one Attraction Marketing point were taught by most uplines, eh??

    Appreciate you here!
